london 2 brighton

hi,im new to this and was wondering if anyone fancies doung a london to brighton sometime in june,i just thought could be a bit of fun

id be up for this but i think a run down there and a night out on the lash would go down a treat stay in a holiday inn for the night and drive back following morning :idea: :?:

There are normally plenty of runs going down that way, especially round the summer. Depending on dates I'd be up for the run.

yeah that sounds even better,but i have only got an old mk1,id look a right t*at,lol :lol:

This year the normal London (Pease Pottage) - Brighton Run is going to the New Forest and including an overnight stay 8)

I'm off on a European run on the 10th so that weekend is a no go for me and the missus.

You said such stuff before on the OC.
No-one cares about whether an MR2 is mint or whether it is a bucket.
We are all on here for the love of the vehicle generally.
If it was mint cars only then I sure as hell would never have made a meet for the last four years!
If its got rusty arches so what. Just come along to the meets and enjoy yourself.
No-one is going to look down on you for having a tatty MK1.
My MK1 went to JAE in 2003 with roofing tape holding the front arches together.
Still was on the stand and no-one cared that it was tatty.
Its all about the cars and fun.

actually its all about the smut now a days, but the cars and driving still make up a small part of the day.

need to think of a place to meet,date time and pub stops, i think maderia drive (seafront) would be packed as its summer but how does june 10th sound,meet on the epsom downs on the grassy bit (if u know it) and then we gotta discuss route and stopping place in brighton,let me know what you think any other ideas would be good :thumleft:

Could do later in may, just not the first week. :D July would seem good. But don't let my movements control the meet. We can always have others :lol:
