STANDARD GRADE PLUGS ARE RATED AT 6 THESE PLUGS ARE
ONE GRADE COOLER AT GRADE 7 WHICH WILL BE ENOUGH FOR MODS SUPPORTING UP TO 355 BHP

I thought it was the other way round?

Im running 16PSI, would these be fine for my MR2 rev1?

I understand that i can get BKR6e's for cheaper but these last a lot longer

Thanks

I think the info re: heat rating is correct, in that the higher the number (ie 7), the cooler they run. Therefore they are more suited to higher modded engines that tend to run hot.

Dont buy iridium tipped, buy stock platnums, which i find last longer than any and ive tried loads, or fit copper grade ones.

Iridium tipped plugs have a tendancy to crack/smash and the tips and ceramic or whatever its made from, drop into the bores.

Im making around 350hp and i use stock platinums from toyota.

You want the BKR7ES or the BCPR7ES.. depending on which you go for, copper or platinum (never remember which is which!). '6ES are standard grade.. the 7 runs cooler at higher temps.. so better for tuned engines.
