Before any one says have you tried speaking to toyota ive tried even the services manager!
Re: RanT! I evry Mr2 owner on this forum should read
I can't be bothered to read all that because your
'txt spk stylz' are annoying
- what's the current status of this and what have Toyota GB said?

Have you approached the management of the company that run the dealership rather than the manager
*at* the dealership?
(e.g.
if it's JCT600 Toyota have you gone to JCT head office for example).

Window problem is an easy fix BTW, I did mine for
£60.

I don't know why anyone would take a 15 year old car to a dealer, they are bound to not give a sh*t about you or your car, they know you can't afford to buy a new car from them, and selling cars is all they are interested in.
Do the work yourself or get a specialist to do it, most independant garages will halve the labour rate instantly.

I do feel sorry for you that they damaged your car, i'd be fuming, i don't think they have a leg to stand on mind as someone admitted it wasn't damanged before.

I can't beleive you didn't ask on here how to sort the window and do it yourself mind, you must have known they'd charge the earth.

I think you are bonkers to take it to a dealer in the first place.

Re: RanT! I evry Mr2 owner on this forum should read
i'd only take my car to a dealer for warranty stuff, as soon as that ran out i'd be off to a real garage and nice prices!

hope it gets sorted

Beware of Toyota in Brislington
(Bristol).
.
took my car there cuz the security was playing up.
.
when I arrived to pick my car up.
.
whoever had parked it.
.
parked it with the front bumper scraped up a brick incline.

Jap Boy, Poyntesm is right mate.
I know.
I'm a lawyer and I doing civil litigation.
I couldn't afford to pay a lawyer to do it on my behalf.
If Toyota want to fight it, it will be expensive.
Try and sort it out without going to the Courts, it may be frustrating but its better than paying
£150.00 per hour for a lawyer to do it for you.
Particularly as you have to pay them as the case goes along and you wouldn't get any costs back until a final hearing.
If in doubt get some proper legal advice though, don't go off half cocked and issue, check out the solicitors and see if your insurance company can help or RAC
/ AA or whatever.

I know.
