MR2 GTS T-bar Turbo
1995 N reg

(Revision 3)
85k miles
Rare Carribean Blue

Just serviced last week! Tax to July 07, MOT to January 08
Previously owned by MR2 enthusiast

("Car 13" owner's brother) and current owner is a sports car enthusiast so
always
warmed up and cooled down.

Modifications:
APEXi GT exhaust

(loud)
Manual Boost Controller, 1 bar boost
MOMO Millenium Evo steering wheel
HKS SSQV Blow Off Valve

NGK plugs
Magncor Competition HT Leads
A-Pillar mounted APEXi gauges: electronic Boost gauge and a Power

(hp) gauge
MOMO Gear Knob and Richbrook Chrome Gaiter Surround

Turbo timer

Downsides: slight scuffing on rear bumper, a few rattles inside the cabin

(it's over 10 years old!), aerial is stuck at half way

(which I prefer, coming from a Skyline, which had an adjustable aerial!).

£5200 ono.

Part-ex considered.

Please note that if you turn up expecting a test drive and don't ask the right questions or spend an hour checking out the car and the paperwork, I reserve the right to turn you away.

I don't want test pilots

(who does?) nor do I want to risk getting this car written off by someone who can't drive performance cars

- the handling is very good but in the hands of a gibbon, it will spit you off the road backwards! If you don't have appropriate insurance, but are genuinely serious about purchasing the car, I am happy to take you out in it as a passenger.

If this is not acceptable then I apologise but I've had enough time-wasters in the past with previous performance cars.

I have only owned this car for a year because I don't really want to have to tax, insure and service two cars any more.

.

.

for the moment

(I want to save up for my dream car).

It is a stunning car and turns heads, particularly in summer.

It is not for the shy type with its pose value and noise.

In terms of driving appeal, it is surprisingly quick and the handling is sublime

(I say this, having owned such cars as 650bhp Skylines and TVRs).

All this talk of MR2s being tricky on the limit is utter nonsense

- maybe the previous owner forgot to mention he'd done something to the suspension, but I adore driving this car.

It's the nearest thing to an Elise without sacrificing reliability.

As a goodwill gesture, because IMOC has been such a useful resource, this car is only advertised on IMOC for the next two weeks, and then I'm putting it out to the masses.

(Well, it will go on Pistonheads and SXOC for a couple of weeks further, before I properly advertise this car.

)
