[Mk2] [Turbo] Best Petrol for a rev 3 turbo??

Hi all, I have been using Tesco super 99 pretty much since i got my turbo imported 18 months ago and i have to say it seems pretty good, I tried optimax but it didn't seem to like that too much (I think it sounded nicer but wasn't as responsive) However I have not yet tried this V power gear! Any one use this? whats the best petrol out there? Nice 1

i only run mine on V Power mate and i love it, i noticed a difference in performance and mpg over Optimax as soon as i tanked it. It's supposed to be 99RON but that's only according to the guy in the Shell station i fill up at, doesn't actually say it on the pump

Any high grade Super unleaded should be ok, i'd avoid supermarket 97RON stuff as it's probably nowhere near as good as it should be.

Been using Tesco's 99RON and the only difference I've noticed between that and V-Power/Optimax is that the spark plugs come looking tan, rather than white as they do with V-Power ..

Always use V-power / Optimax but tbh not noticed any difference from the odd occasion when Bp ultimate is used - The cars 'feel' the same..
