Would look very nice without the scoop IMO.

"The changes to the JGTC Honda NSX race cars were apparently so fundamental that Honda had to make a certain number of road legal vehicles to comply with the JGTC rules. Only five NSX-R GT models will be made (production will start in August) and all of them had already been sold"

(50,000,000 YEN)

Just shows how a scoop can ruin a car!

Would look sweet without 8-[

If you want ram air into the air intake....

Post by James_Ward »

..... you need one of these.....

http://www.wisil.recumbents.com/wisil/n ... a-duct.htm

ideally with a large bit of flat bodywork in front of it (in the direction of motion) so there is no turbulence to break up the boundary layer. Also if you want to take advantage of the increase in pressure for your intake air, it must be sealed air tight into the air intake, right up to the throttle, otherwise the pressure will leak out (and worse, hot air will get in).

Jim :)

PS that scoop on the NSX-R GT is non functional apparently....
