Anyone up for taking passengers out for a hot lap or two if I bring my helmet?

Just got home and unloaded the car, Currently defrosting my ears and feet!! Had a excellent day, Cheers to Simon for the passenger laps and for showing us that the MK1 does go sideways in a controlled manner in the rain/snow with a mixed selection of nanglop ditch finder tyres!!!

Cheers to everyone for the help when the car did it's kettle impression a few times!! Have to replace the rad, thermostat and flush the system through and see how we go from there. We were really impressed with how the MK1 handled and how it went too!! Really impressed a few of our non MR2 owning mates on the passenger laps we took them on and Karl who drove it for a few laps was impressed too. We had a few brown trouser moments between us today but nothing serious and a good day was had by all!!

Need to get my own project done and dusted so i can help Steve out with the MK1 a bit more and get it ready for the next track day.

Andy (Woo Hoo!!! My feet starting to change from blue to a normal colour!!!)

We had a great day yesterday (I wont mention the weather), I had a few scary moments on cold tyres first thing which if I'm to be honest knocked my confidence a bit, by late morning/early afternoon I started to get back into the swing of things... but still never really trusted the front tyres.

Our winter improvements have made quite a diference, she defo had more go in her... We had a few probs with intercooler pipes popping off but nothing terminal.

I think my dad had a good time, he was certainly putting up a good show against some of the faster car's.

Oh and I liked the flames coming out the back from a couple of you guys as you went past... mmmmm unburnt fuel...

We got Colerne next, mid april, I sure hope its a bit warmer!

Oh and did anyone else see Jeremy Clarkson?

I think it was his kids birthday or something, watching those drift cars take his kids around padock 2 was freaking great... I wonna have a go at that!

Hey,

Good photos!

Mine was the black one with the stupid wing (not that it narrows that down much)

Glad you had a good day.
