10th anniversary model

Post by blue2 »

Just read this from the mr2 buyers guide-
"There was a limited edition (only 250) 10th Anniversary model in 1996 which can be identified by the wooden steering wheel, chrome kick-plates, different alloy wheels and the limited edition badge."
When I was looking to buy my mr2 I saw one of these at a nearby garage for sale for £2500. I remember the wood dash and the 10th anniversary badge on the steering wheel. Are these cars worth more than this, mabye I should have bought it  although it did have 150,000 on the clock and the t-bars looked a bit ropey.

think you just answered your own question then-milegae/condition
I dont think anyone would hunt that out as a model. It costs roughly the same as a normal version and tbh a who wants a wooden steering wheel?
I'd rather hunt out an original TRD MR2
