Jus put my deposit down on an f reg mk1.

Its a good example, t-bar, leather, done 100k, but looks to have been well looked after, ex woman owner who was in the drivers club apparently.

looks like its had a full respray, the arches are immac....

£1695.

not a bad price i thought...
Bit slow, but hey, i deserve that, couldnt handle the other!

Thats a G-ltd, a GT turbo and a mk1 4-age in just over a month.

I think every car they have, the ad says -Not the usual rubbish. I e-mailed them as to what the 'usual rubbish' was (one mans scrap is another mans gold and all that), the reply was 'imports'.

i sent the insurance company a letter telling them that i would not exept anything less than £6000 (minus my £750 excess), the balls in their court now... im not in a big hurry for the cash, so im jus gonna keep on haggling.
im also gonna find out what salvage company took it, there is a lot of good stuff in that motor... its spotless other than the obvious...

yeah i get the same babble about imports and ive gone wrong there etc..

i got import becausei didnt want uk N/A rev3 I wanted Import G-limited Rev3 as its top of the range with extras i.e air con, more power,folding mirrors.. list goes on..
