Its due partly to the front end having sod all weight in it.. you can get vented wings and bonnets to help, also a front lip might help aid a bit.

rev 5's are meant to be better , had a little deflecter fitted in front of the front wheels ( at least i think that's where it is !). Phoenix power front wing on the bonnet is the way forward !

I can honeslty say my car does not do this.

Mine is slightly lowered 15-20mm ish.

But it also has all the undertray's still in place.

Does yours still have the undertray?

do what ive done and get has many car horns in the front
..or use the front more as your boot than the back......best to always keep a box load of cleaning stuff in the front for those times when you may need to give the car a shine....

my rev3 was very light and twitchy at speeds, but I've just replaced all 4 shocks, put poly bushes on (and replaced a worn ball joint) and it feels much much better.
Maybe check the tracking is spot on and look for any worn components? We didn't know the ball joint was gone on mine until we pulled it all apart as everything is so stiff.

its possibly the power steering relay, these are fairly notorious for breaking which means you don't get the progressive reduction of assistance. My Rev1 suffers immensely from this and its clearly down to the power steering, may be worth checking the relay to see if its being progressive or not. Don't know how you check it, personally I am just going to replace mine.
I am going to live forever, or die trying!

Worth switching the ignition on and off multiple times to see if it cleans the contacts first...

MK1s can also be light at top speed, the bonnet scoop stuff works a treat though as long as you seal the underneath. It's worth checking your undertrays as somebody above said too.
