right Ive found an engine I have, its a complete unknown (not sure if I blew it up, or its just lying around for me to blow up)

its missing one or 2 little things (tensior pulley - Tom stole, water pump - Tom stole  )

Its not one I coated in chocolate (thats still there). So i'll bring it along for disassembly, at anyones leisure, and a box for everything to go into.

Excellent a full engine post mortem!!

Track car projects all set and loaded with all the bits and pieces, even treated it to six months tax, so it better not blow up on the first track day.

Ive started the display board content, will crack on with it this evening and have it all printed out and ready mid week.

Cant wait! :)

Top man Steve! :thumleft: I reckon we'll have a really good chance of winning a prize Image

And furthermore I 've been waffling to Stuart (Mk1Club chairman). I think I may have persuaded him to attend. (I'll have another go later in the week  )

It's not the only things I've stolen! When Mark was at work I drove over to Mark and Lauren's and stole the Sparco steering wheel off his white Supernail!

I have spoken to Kirsty and I am going to book accomodation this week.

Have agreed ot split the costs of a room with her (not like that you bunch of dirty bu99ers, lets face it she has better taste then that)

Does anyone else want me to make the reservation for them?

Thinking of a 5.30 arrival at the Travelodge - go and get some scran and beers and then off to the reception.

I'd also like to share with someone - £25 is somewhat more reasonable than £50... (although apparently the rooms ar good for four people).
Malc, you have to pay for the room upfront I believe (credit card) so might be a bit pricey if you make the reservation for a few rooms!!!

Edit: Nevermind; I'm sorted.

Tim,

Can you get it steam cleaned? I don't want to get my hands dirty!

Don't bring a good engine that would be silly. Remember you might need it for the MR2Challenge should you perchance happen to blow up the existing good one . And you'll be rathered annoyed if it's in a box of bits, not ready to fit. You've got plenty of blown ones so why not bring one of those?

Are you bringing an engine stand ? If not someone needs to. I suppose I *could* bring mine but it's got an engine attached to it at the moment.

Just to confirm, are you bringing a couple of tables?

Also, is it worth having a final confirmation of bits and pieces on msn tomorrow night? I can't do Thursday and Friday will be too close to the event.

Chris has arranged with me to pick up the display boards from my garage on Saturday evening. I can also supply two pasting tables, foldaway fabric covered screens, the MR2 Club fold flat black metal chairs, Club Banner and other bits and pieces.
Hope to be at the show around 11am.
Best of luck to evryone involved and get that prize!!

Kirsty, You remember how every once in a while I couldn't post anything up into the conversation we all had previously, but I could read what everyone else was writing? Well, it's gotten worse now - I know I'm connected to people but cannot seem to get a message across at all or receive anything.
So if I get that sorted, I'll be there. Not much time to try to sort it beforehand though, and I think it's a problem I can't fix (university firewall).

Not that I'll be bringing much anyway. A couple of whiteboards, (and pens) some extra rubber gloves... ummm... that's pretty much it. I'll probably just bring anything that I think would be worthwhile having there! :)
(a spare box of plasters to supplement the first aid kit? :))

I might be able to do MSN on Friday. We're currently offline at home due to the house move but are supposed to be getting an internet connection again on Thursday sometime.

If MSN will be a problem for people I also have a live chat box hosted on my webspace we can use.
