Too right, Mike.
I've ordered a set for the soon to be restored Tbar.

They are necessary for everyone on the trip. Turn up without & be mocked!

Might be a bit of a 'saddo' question, but what does everyone do for food during the week? With not going B4 im not quite sure what to do? Is it worth taking a few of those disposable bbq things & a few bits to put on it, & maybe a little camp stove & a dozen tins of beans? & maybe beans & sausage for a special occasion? Or is it cheaper (yeah right) to buy food over there? Is there a cheap beer shop near the camp site?
Thank you.

steve dont worry about food.

just bring some plastics plates, etc.

a nice gas stove would be handy but food is cheap and theres a big supermarket down the road. last year we bought a bbq for 11 squid and left it over there.

Don't worry about eating. The French are renowned for food. Just bring a camping burner, a couple of pans & a kettle. There are 3 supermarkets in easy reach, with all the stuff that you would expect, except under a different name.
I recommend the sausage.
If you want a meal in a tin, cassoulet is delicious (basically duck, chicken, sausage & beans) but go for a mid priced rather than a cheap one.
Cheese is fantastic - there are so many.
There is bread delivery every morning - you just have to get up in time but it's worth it for fresh croissant & pain au chocolade.

As for beer - Flemish or Alsace beers are generally good. Abbe beers (Monastry breweries or style) are particularly good. Biere du garde means a lager beer in the German sense (Stored & matured) and the Breton beers are just splendid.

Come on guys get the orders in for the decal for the cars.

I really need to give the numbers to the supplier by the end of march so only 10 days to get them done and post a cheque to me.

Once ordered thats it as they will be done in one batch.
