hi guys nd gals, was told to put pics up! lol so here they are, few details about me first....im ross, 19, living in southampton at the mo training to be a marine engineer. urm...thts about it! lol anyways here a few details of my new motor.


1991 import mk2 mr2 turbo (non t bar)
running 235bhp at the wheels

Welcome, looks tidy :thumleft: . What boost you running to get 235atw on a rev2 with only induction kit, exhaust, and MBC? :-k

yeah i believe it is goodwood green, im picking it up 2moro so to be honest i have no idea how its running 235, hes got a dyno printout to prove so i guess he's not bull s*itting lol. cheers

p.s. the guy im buying it from says the dyno was done at 12psi.

well unless its got a much larger turbo than standard, that 235 would be flywheel power, not power at the wheels at 12psi...

i thought a 91 was 220 standard?

ahhh, i knew tht :silent: lol. cheers, so with the exhuast and other bits i should expct just under 200 at the wheels? cheers

but i would have thought the graph would have wheel and flywheel figs, so that should tell you....

cheers jim, ill make sure i get it off him and have a ganders, at this point im not particularly fussed as long as its running well, power can come at a later date :) cheers

jsut a quick follow up really, picked th ecar up yesterday, its running 14psi of boost, is this ok? should i turn it down? i read somewhere on here that 15/16psi is max on standards. any thoughts? pulls like a train through every single gear and scares the living daylights out of me!

15/16psi max on the turbo....not the internals, turbos crap at anything over this, the internals are good for way past this and hp....
youll prob notice as well, higher in the revs, the boost tails off anyway...
