[Mk2] [Turbo] Fuel Cap

Post by WillyWonka »

Can someone help me out please.

The fuel cap on my MR2 doesn't unscrew, it just has a flap in the middle ofit where you just push the filler nozzle into.

Does anyone else have one like this?
Are they are all like this?
Can i swap it for a srew in one or something as I don't think the flap in the middle gives a very good seal.

Any help would be great.

Cheers

I used to have the cap with a flap in the middle of it. Trouble was cuz it was getting old. I was getting petrol smell in the cabin. So solved it by buying a proper £20 Toyota screw on cap that clicks when tight (only click it about twice) And jobs a good'n!

:)

P.s give them your chasis no etc..
