[Mk2] [Generic] Anniversary paint????

Post by turbo_ricer »

Was there an anniversary paint model??

Sounds weird I know, but I seem to remember someone saying there was a silver/black option that was on anniversary models. Mine is a 1997 silv/blk, could I have this option?

Thanks

Hello Mate

There was 2 options for anniversary cars. One was Blue and was sold as a UK car and the other is silver and I believe is import only. Have a look in my Garage I have the Silver import anniversary edition.

Cheers

Hi There
The Limited edition Tenth aniversary model came in Lucerne Silver Metalic or Caribbean Blue both were T bars with half wood/leather Momo steering wheel, full black leather & dark grey Alloys & Stainless steel tread plates. Were only made in the UK as far as I know going from the literature I have on them. Tried posting it on here but wont let me. If you want it I can email this to you.

Thanks Si

Hi again

The Caribbean Blue cars came with the half wood/leather Momo steering wheel however the silver Jap import did not. Nor where they all T-bars. Have a look at the original sales sheet below.

Thanks

The UK anniversary models were only supplied in caribbean blue and silver, all of them were T-bars and there were 250 of them, they have the Momo part wooden steering wheel, grey Toyota badges, chrome kick plate sills, numbered plaque on steering wheel and engine cover, darker painted alloys and Bilsteins fitted.

There was also a JDM import 10th Anniversary that wasnt a T-bar, believe JRLeech has one of these for sale in the for sale section, this model had a similar spec as the UK model, and I have only ever seen silver ones.

I have number 173, a UK Anniversary one which is caribean blue.
