Black Rev3 Turbo T-bar - NEW PRICE

Post by skytek »

UPDATE: Due to someone (non imoc member) wasting my time after me holding it over for him the car is back up for sale and as I'm picking up my new one on Thursday and already have 2 cars in my driveway I need this one shifted soon.

The new price is £3950 and the car is ready to go anytime. Also, the wheels pictured will now be included in the sale :thumleft:

I hopefully have another car on the way in the next few weeks which is rather special  So, in order to help fund the new one I'm going to have to sell my beautiful black tubby. I wanted to keep it as my daily driver as it's the best mr2 I've owned so far (I've had 3) and the only thing that's gone wrong with it was the o2 sensor which has been replaced. Sadly I can't afford to have both as the new one is quite alot more than a standard tubby.

Here's the spec:

1994 mk2 rev3 mr2 turbo t-bar
Black
102,000 miles
HKS single exit exhaust
aftermarket filter
Manual boost controller set to 1bar
Boost guage
Leather and alcantera interior
17 inch alloys
-40mm lowering springs and recently replaced bilstein shocks
Genuine toyota Clear front lenses
Clifford alarm and immobiliser with remote start and remote headlight pop-up. Remote start can be disabled easily for insurance purposes if need be :D
Plenty of tax and mot left
HPI clear with documents to prove.
All original glass with no cracks or chips
Electric folding mirrors
Air con - which could do with a re-gassing in time for the heat of the summer
Panasonic flip down head unit with removable fascia
400watt kenwood amp, component speakers in doors and crossovers.
Momo Steering wheel

I've just changed the oil, filter, plugs, dissy cap and rotor arm all 500 miles ago and also swapped out the exhaust for my nice single exit off my old spare tubby and it makes a lovely noise but not too loud at all and very very calm for motorway cruising.

The only mods done in the lifetime of the car have been wheels, suspension, filter, dump valve exhaust, and just recently a boost controller and guage to run 1 bar of boost. Before I added the boost controller the boost had never been changed from standard since coming out of the factory in 1994 and I could verify this when I fitted the boost controller as the stock tubes were so old they were a nightmare to remove! :thumleft:

The car is in immaculate condition and the paintwork has to be seen to be believed (and it's original paintwork too!) There's only one flaw on the whole paintwork and thats one tiny and barely noticable dent between the petrol flap and the passenger door. There is absolutely no fading or rough areas or rust.

The car starts first time every time and runs beautifully.

This is the best mr2 I have owned and I have absolutely loved it and was planning on keeping it for a couple more years until I came across something rather special which I'm not going to talk about until i've got it! [-o< \:D/

That's all I can think of at the mo. Any questions, just ask.

Asking price - £3950 ono

I want this car to go to an imoc member if at all possible which is why it's only advertised here. It's such a good car it should be kept within the club and not passed on to some randomer off autotrader.

Please pm me if you're interested.

Thanks.

I'm afraid it's miles guys but the engine runs perfectly and doesnt use any oil or water.

The price is negotiable. I have 2 people interested so far and will be expecting a deposit from one in the next couple of days if he decided to buy it but if that doesn't come the car will be available for takers again so if anyone wants to make me an offer or ask questions please fire away. I'd prefer to sell this car to someone within the imoc forum :thumleft:

I dind't use anything on them. About 3 days before I took the pics I just washed the car at the local jet washer which does a coat of wax at the end and then on the day I took the pics I sponged the car down with just water. The paintwork is amazing on this car so it takes very little effort for a shine. I haven't waxed it with autoglym or anything yet in th etime I've owned it. I'm usually fussy about waxing my cars every 2-3 weeks with my autoglym kit but this car didnt really need it and it was winter so I left it.
