These 2 events of couple years ago were at their peak then filtered out by mr anyone going in their nissan or something.

bluewater is still going , every other tuesday (or was it thurs ) there is still quite a few mr2s there, but also a lot of everything else.. including corsa's doing handbrake turns next to peoples pride'n'joys

Sorry guys for not keeping you updated on this. I had left it in the hands of a friend of mine and the last time I heard, the Powers that be over at Bluewater had decided to back the meet and even gone as far as selecting an area for our use only Their will be a strong Police presence once the official meet gets underway along with visits from Vosa. So that should ensure good behaviour and I suspect a sudden disapperaing act by those who insist on driving like idiots!

I'll try and find out the latest for you so watc this space...

but mike... is VOSA being there a good thing.. taking into consideration how 'Trigger Happy' they are when they see a car with a 'loud' exhaust... let alone someone with as many mods as some of us!

you think, everyone with a screamer pipe, or de-catted exhaust could be potentially driving an un-road worthy car... emissions & noise! and don't forget my problem i had with them , saying my Tien Flex are not for road use, as they are too stiff :S

They will only be there every now and again and will not be there with an aim to bother us, ie the enthusiasts who attend to simply enjoy the meet, (static meet) So anyone behaving their selves will not be bothered

To be honest this is something I ave been told 2nd hand and even then I couldn't tell you hand on heart the exact source and validity of he/she!

All you guys looking for a meet in this neck of the woods, dont forget the East London/Essex Borders meet on Sunday 4th march. Its not MR2 specific, we get lambos, maseratis and ferraris as well, but the more of you that come the more MR2 specific it will be. Also so far its been idiot free!!
