You'll be in the mid to high 13's if you can get a good launch

really! with a rev2!!
VERY much dout ill be close to that first few goes, lol!
3.5k-4k is about the best lauch rpm isnt it???
oh, ive got LSD to! will that help me out much???
Re: Night drag - SANTA POD - 19th Feb
It's possible as i've seen it done You need to get that launch just right. With my car in it's old spec I used to launch with no more than 3000rpm. Anything more would spin up too badly. Many I know swear that as much as 4.500rpm is the way forward. You'll just have to experiment to find what works best for you

to prevent the wheels spinning (at 4.5k rpm) though is gona cain your clutch though isnt it??
do i need to keep it in the bitting point area when changing into 2nd, or is it just a normal gear change??? (you know, to get a bit more torque).
oh, and i gather with a standard engine, between 5.5k and 6k rpm is the best place to change gear???? (i find its around thatr area when im gunning it).

Best place to change gear is just after the power starts to drop off. My max power is at 6800 so i change gear at around 7k. It's no good mike giving advise anyway, he can't do it either!
Good launch and fast gear changes is whats needed. Have enough practice and you'll get it right in the end. Took me plenty of goes to get it right, but now i'm going to bury mike in a few weeks time (though he's still arguing that one!).

Still haven't really decided on them. They're not the greatest looking rims but i like the fact they weigh bu88er all and AFAIK they're the only set in the country. Time will tell on that one, unless someone hands me a set of bronze volks gram lights of course.
