Due to spending too much on my other car i dont have the funds to pay for any repairs and dont use the car enough to warrant keeping it any longer.
..So for sale is a yellow t-bar mr2 turbo.
The car is a 1990 2.016v that had a rev3 (29,000 mile) turbo engine fitted by Rouge Motorsport 3 years agoSince then it has done 20,000 odd miles.
It also has a new greddy profec b spec 2 boost controller, 17" alloy wheels, rev6 rear LED light conversion, rev6 front twin low-rise headlight conversion, uprated suspension, rev3 gearbox and LSD, white dial kit, CD stereo, induction kit, blitx BOV, Uprated plugs and splitfire leads, private numberplate, mongoose exhaust and decat etc etc
The car looks really good in yellow with the front and rear light conversion kits all painted to match the car.
Also has a new gearshift gaitor done by rhon on here with a carbon fibre gearhift surround and a gearstick lock fitted (great for insurance and security), also has a CAT1 alarm fittedThe car has run great with all oil changes etc done on time and has been a fast car which hasnt been tuned up too much powerwise
(ran at around 260bhp)Recently the car has stopped boosting completely and im told that the turbo shaft has siezed up stopping it from spinning, the engine still runs fine and i can drive it about ok but the car wont make any real power as there is no boost at all provided by the turbo.
There is no blue smoke etc and should be an easy fix for someone with the parts/knowledge to do it.The car has just gone through an MOT and has 12months on it.
I cant be bothered with fixing it as my other car has all my time spent on it so i will sell at a cheap price for a fast sale.
