Yeah converted N/A hence the year, should be 1991 too lol

Can't wait for this trip, should be real fun 8)

Also Pete, you think 15" wheels would be a bit too small for my car? Need some lightweight ones...

Yes i got the email regarding the ferry as well

They have offered me the 7.00am crossing but the do give you the facility to pick a different time on the same day if you want to.

You have to confirm you got the email to confirm the time is ok

I have emailed Mike to see what he is intending to do and hopefully he will put a bit on the link here.

as far as i see it they were planning on having a second ship ready for this year .

they havent managed too get the other ship going so all times have changed.

im pretty sure the 8am sail doesnt exist anymore so we will all have to change our times.

Found on 'pistonheads' forums 26/01/07

received an email from Speedferries earlier this week informing me that my 8am Wednesday crossing had been changed to 7am on Wednesday instead. I called them and was told that they have been told but the Dover Harbour Board to change the times of their sailings. A fe win my group did't get emailed about it and only discovered they have been "bumped" when the looked at their booking on the Speedferries website. The are a crowd of idiots as they haven't told everyone so it is likely people will miss their boat. Also the sailings from Bolougne have been changed too. Make sure you check your booking on their site as when I spoke to the they said I was booked on the 17.10 on Monday but in fact I'm on the 20.50

So not everyones had that e-mail from them............

Hi, sorry guys its taken a while for me to investigate this, been so busy lately with work.

Right I didn't get the email like some people which is little disappointing, however when I have checked my booking on their website the departing time has been changed to 07.00am so there is a little problem with communication on their part I think. I thnk we all would have received the email in the near future so I have confidence that we have booked with the right ferry provider. Prices are still good for the crossing, around £100 so get booked now if you haven't.

So to wrap up, the new departing time from Dover - Boulogne on Tuesday 12th is now 07.00am.

Any problems, get in touch. Thanks to Shane for bringing this matter to my attention.

You bet Shane...!!!

We will need to leave the lodge at 05.30am to ensure we get to Dover for around 06.15am as we need at least 30 minutes check in and I've never been to the Speed Ferry terminal before. Unfortunately breakfast is served from 07.00am so we will have to get something either on the ferry or at the 1st service stop.

Looks like it will only be the 10 pints the night before then......

Did I mention we have an M12 Noble coming with us.....

Proposed plan for Monday 11th June

Depart Durham at 09.00am

Pickup 1 will be Scotch Corner services A1M for anyone up North ( 09.30am )

Pickup 2 will be Ferrybridge services A1M for anyone from the Leeds/Bradford/Hull area ( 10.30am )

Pickup 3 will be Blyth services A1 for anyone on the east coast/Lincoln ( 12.00pm ) Stop here for lunch 20 mins

Pickup 4 will be Grantham services A1 ( 13.00pm )

Pickup 5 will be Potters Bar services M25 ( 14.00pm )

Pickup 6 will be Maidstone services M20 ( 15.30pm )

Arrive at hotel 16.00pm.

Please note ALL times are approx.....

You must inform me which pickup you intend to join the convoy so we can arrange a suitable place within the services to meet up like a Burger King, McDonalds, etc. I'm not aware of the layout of any of the services except Scotch Corner and Ferrybridge so any help would be appreciated. Once you tell me where you intend to join I'll start a list on here and put names to pick-ups. I think it would be a good idea to share mobile numbers at this point.
