i have a route planned out which shouldnt take more than an hour. dont want to post too much details on a public forum but it will be along the network of roads around the cat and fiddle.

the idea is to do a loop and end up at the cat and fiddle pub for a drink and a chat, then people can either go home or do the same again.

once done any one can come for a drink with me and lee in buxton. usually some totty from the college/uni if you stay out late enough.

right,

ive come to a decision which some people wont like and think im being funny which im not (honest), but after a few comments on pistonheads people are asking me if this is an mr2 meet as theres loads coming and its putting people off.

basically im trying too create a run out for all makes and models of a performance orientation to meet up have a gander/drool over some nice car then go out for a blast and have another drool.

because the first meet will be what other people base others on im temporarily puttting a stop on anymore mr2s signing up. i know it sounds daft and people may think im being funny/a snob but this wont be a cruise/stand around chatting for ages.

i want it to be for enthusiasts and if theres loads of mr2s there it will give the wrong impression and people may think its abit clicky and there not welcome.

most upto date list is here:

Alex - Mr2 Turbo - Chesterfield
Graham - Mazda mx-6 - Warrington
Jaik - Suzuki Cappuccino - Stockport
Lee - Mr2 Turbo - Stoke-on-trent
Aitch -Mk1 MR2/S14 200SX - Congleton
stu- subaru sti or evo - Bradford
kirsty - mk1 sc - Warrington
Neil - Primera gt - Alsager
Mad Badger - Tvr Tamora - Chesterfield
Kirk - westfield/106 rallye/porsche 964 - Stockport
screech - Rev 2 tubby - Rotherham
Dan - Rev 2 NA - Wirral
Steve - Astra Turbo - Stoke-on-trent
Sig - Mr2 Turbo - Stoke-on-trent
Rob - Mr2 NA - Stoke-on-trent
Scottie - 200sx - St Helens
Clive - Continental GT - Cheshire
Burnie - S2000 - Chesterfield

and i will keep updating the first post as people add there names on pistonheads and will look at opening it up to more mr2s asap.

hope you guys understand :pale:

There's a nice mix of cars on the list so far and I've not met anyone off here or PH who isn't a good laugh, so it should be good!

Maybe I'm being a little thick here, but is this not an mr2 owners club?
I'm a bit confused that you don't want anymore mr2's when it wasn't stated on the initial post that this was linked to another forum's event.
