[Mk2] [Turbo] Border Styleeeee

Post by DMC Paul »

I'm looking to get a Border style vented bonnet for my two, just can't find one for love nor money in this country.

I don't really want Carbon Fibre as it will be sprayed and I'm not after weight loss.

Looked at Replikit and Neos Design but they both have a ridge/lip infront of the vents, unlike the Border.

Sooo who knows where to look or buy.

Cheers

I'm sure Neos designs could take that lip off and smooth it down. He seems quite accomodating in that way from what I can gather.

Dave

Good that you could shave the lip off, but the Border bonnet has two vents where as yous has just the one, Can you create a more border look.

Dave while you're at it can you make something like the front splitter in the pic below, as supplied by Cadaver:

Image

It's based on the Ask Sport front (pic below) but IMO much nicer. It's not as chunky and doesn't stick out too far. Spot on I think!

Oh and if I ould have the finished item ready for next week it'd help ;)

If headcover can come up with a border copy as in cadavers pix I think I'd be interested also.
What d'ya think it'd cost headcover?

I may have access to a Border Bonnet in the near future, so I'll have a look at making something up from it that will be only available from myself & look a bit different to from all the other bonnets out there.

I have no idea on time scale as I'm up to my eye balls in work & other projects.. :pale: I need to clear all these 1st before I take on anything else.

I have taken on more staff again to try & help with the demand etc..
