94 Rev3 tubby.... NOW SOLD

Post by Rev3 Flex »

Hey guys

Its time to sell now because i can't afford to run two cars, i've tried but its not practical for me :(

Its a 94 rev 3 tubby tin top, i've owned it since April 2005 and done plenty since then.... including....

Fitting a brand new Scorpion Exhaust,
Getting a full respray- proper job with windows out- i have some pics of this when it was being done, (was just going to treat rust and a few light scratches, but made more sense to spray the full car)
I have fitted Tein lowering springs and 18" Team Dynamics, but still have the standard 15s,
Two new front Bilstein struts as one of the last ones was knackered, so i replaced both,
Leather seats from a UK T-bar, both seats are mint no marks or tears,
Reconditioned the turbo earlier this year to make sure it was running as it should,
Genuine Toyota clear indicators fitted,

The car was dyno'd in the summer and i have a graph to show it is running 249.8bhp, also have video clips of this on my mobile :D , this was done at ChipWizards in Milnrow.

Now the bad points.......

The mileage on the car is approx 115k miles, most was done by the previous owner who owned the car for 6 years and was the first UK owner. I know this is below average for a car of its age, but with the tubby being an import i am aware that most will have lesser mileage.

There is a tiny chip on the windscreen which i will be fixing before i sell :thumleft:

The central locking works 90% of the time but sometimes it sticks so i have to use the key.

Just to add the car comes fitted with a Cat1 alarm and immobiliser, and came with a leather MoMo steering wheel. I am looking for £4200 with the 18s on - which have brand new Hankooks all round, or £3800 with the standard wheels.

I can be contacted on 07841586583 if you have any questions, leave me a voicemail as i may be in work and i'll get back to you. I have pics which i can email or send via MMS, but don't have a clue on uploading them to here. If someone is kind enough i can forward them on and they can add them for me :D , or let me know your email address or mobile number and i'll send you a bunch of piccies!

Thanks for reading

Mo,
Bury nr Manchester.

The car is now at £3500 - thats a BARGAIN!!!! Rev 3 MR2 which is in immaculate condition! It will get a fresh 12 months MOT when sold and a full valet. The car will come with both sets of alloys, it really has to go as it is being used as a second car at the moment and i can't afford it to be honest.

I will also throw in the full sound system, Pioneer headunit, Kenwood Dual Mag components with separate crossovers, a Sony Xplod amp and custom sub box built by Neil off here.

Any questions drop me a PM or reply to the post, i have more pics if wanted.............

Hey guys in my quest to sell my car i am going to let it go for a rock bottom price, i understand this isn't the best time of year to sell so......

I have removed the stereo and sound system and will be keeping the standard set of wheels so i can afford to drop the price a little further.....

£3200 !!!!!!!!!!! Come on guys there must be a good home out there for this beauty at this price!

I will wait a week then commence wrist slitting

Shameless bump :D

The central locking very rarely sticks buddy i just wanted to mention it as it has happened, but hey presto turn of a key and your in! It will ALWAYS lock, not once has the door not locked- i check it every time force of habit :D

As for the stereo i'll throw in a cassette player no charge, although you can pay the extra and take the rest!

I'll even throw in the standard wheels so you add an extra set of alloys into the equation..... first person to wave BEST PRICE OVER £3K will be laughing!

hey guys.... yeah it is miles.... if it was km's i'd want quite a bit more 8)

The car just gets driven now for the sake of driving it, as mentioned i have my new car now so its becoming a bit of a pain!

As the car stands now i'll take 3k, if your looking to get it with 12 Months MOT then chuck in another £50 coz i know it'll sail through- otherwise it still has a month left i think.

I won't sell it for less than this, it'll be put in the autotrader end of the month if an enthusiast doesn't take it :D
