Could do with some help here guys!
Power steering on my car was working fine.

I parked my car up for about 15mins, and when i started up again the

'PS' warning light came on and the steering stiffend.

Anyways i checked the level of fluid in the reservoir

(which was fine.

.

.

couldnt find a low/max level indicator it just said cold/hot.

.

fluid was at the base of the cold line/mark) and drove the car home.

Next day started up and immediately the steering was fine again and the warning light went out.

Not sure what the problem could be but Ive kinda figured that generally if the car is parked on a slight uphill slope the PS fails, whereas downhill slopes tend to

're-energise' the system.

Other recent problems that seemed to coincide within days of the PS failure was a total loss of power to my car stereo as well as water seeping into the boot

(which ive drained to avoid the ECU getting damp) but not sure if these could be connected with the PS.

My garage couldnt help much with the problem.
