I'm sure without Christmas and the bank problems getting in the way, that it wouldn't take so long.. but there you go. I'll see if the supplier has had an update.

Ok - our supplier is also moving house now, and has limited amount of access (hence the quiet period). I can tell you that the money has been transferred, and he expects to be able to deliver them at/on/around the 15th.

Happy New Year :)

i found a UK supplier but they wanted £80+VAT+Shipping

www.tcbperformanceparts.co.uk >> light section.

Raybrigs for £39.99 + £7 VAT per side = £94 + postage (probably £10)

hth :)

Speedy - Thanks for the update :thumleft:

Would it be an idea to do a group buy on the Raybrigs too? I'd be up for a set :D

Well volunteered ;)

Seriously - anyone want to phone the webby people and ask if they'll do a discount on a large order? (although you'll still want them shipped to individual addresses)

ok kids, no sooner said than done :D

So original price was £39.99 + VAT per headlight (exc. P&P for now)
= £93.98

Just spoken to Trevor at www.tcbperformanceparts.co.uk and as is clear they are already at a pretty low price. I managed to persuade him to give £5 off for a pair (before VAT) so they would now cost:

£88.10 inc. VAT for a set of 2 (saving of £5.88 ).

Re. postage, well its £10 per set or he can send 4 sets together for £10 to the same address. Not sure how this would work lol!

So worst case its going to cost £98.10, assuming no VAT on delivery?

I think we should get 10 names down first, if we got 20 names, he could knock a little bit more off, but not much more.

I'll start off a new thread...

Doesn't matter really, I'll certainly miss the post, and I haven't got time to fit them for a couple of weekends at least lol.

got mine too.

took a while to figure out the wiring, looking at it i assume the big long wire with the relay is optional to use and you can instead choose to use the H4's on each side to send the feed back to each ballast?

looks that way from here, i'm pretty sure thats the case.

from the looks of things you need to pull out one of the H4's to see that heavy duty cable and then your not going to be able to use high beam on that side as the multiplug is in use?

Got mine to :) :) :) well happy with the quality of them. Just a quick question about them...

The ballast has no cage to hold it. How are you lot going to attach them to the car??

I thought about double sided numberplate tape ???

Oh and thanks for organizing the Group Buy was worth it in the end :thumleft: :thumleft:

Andy if you lift up the moulding that holds all the parts in place there is 2 cages under there.

also the ballast is covered in double sided tape thats how i'm going to go about it :D

Also looking at the wiring does the HID dip turn off when the full beam main comes on? it looks like it to me, i'm not sure though :)
