These the guys up North?

one of the guys is called george i think! if so i have had some experience with them and it goes as follows:

1. bought a bomex kit- they are very cheap and the fit was okay- did require some work on one of the side skirts but nothing too bad. Bumper had the corner that meets the light re shaped as it was out but generally happy considering what i paid for them.

2. A friend bought a kit (as mine was quite good) for a prelude, one of the skirts was a bit too long so had to be cut short. the other skirt had to have the ledge rebuilt as it caught the door. rest was okay and a good fit but they were only skirts/extensions (not bumpers). he didnt try sending them back as the fitter said its normal with copy kits and it can be sorted (at a cost)! he was happyish.... did cost him more because of the ledge!

3. another friend bought a kit (similar time as the above) for a Celica GT, he hasnt had it fitted yet but it seems okayish... however its a proper mess and the kit does need finishing off. i think it was a fresh one as the fibres were all over the place (on the edges IYSWIM).

apart from that depending on where you live, they like to meet on the M6 somewhere but sometimes you end up waiting for a while. It really is a case of you get what you pay for. We never tried returning anything so im not sure what the service is like if the kit doesnt fit!

oh and finally you can knock them down further on prices- the mate who bought the celica kit eneded up paying him about £80 less!!!

hope this helps you mate. i dont have any other experience in other kit suppliers but i would admit there prices (after negotiations) are very good.

Cheers

I bought a set of Bomex skirts from them. I live about 8 miles away so short drive. They did need some work to get fitted (filled up round the inlet vent inside and they were hitting the door). I had mine smoothed into the sills to avoid hitting the door.

thanks.

I was going to buy them, get them sprayed and then fit them myself. But i gues they wont fit well enough fo this and will have to be fitted professionally.

it does really depend as their kits have not been consistent but i would say that they all require some adjustments. If they take them back without fuss then maybe its worth checking them as my bomex skirts were not too bad! from what i have heard; if you need a simple easy fit kit then copies are a no no.... [-X [-X [-X
(generally)....

I got a Bomex bumper from them, and the fir was crap.
My first 2 bodyshops gave up on it, so i got it done by a VERY expensive place up North :(
