what revision car? Your profile has a rev3 turbo, and I doubt they are low enough value to make breaking worthwhile

(unless it's knackered).

Not only is there the cost to your time spent dismantling, cleaning, listing, packaging and posting components to various buyers, you'll also need quite a lot of space to store this stuff.

As I found when rebuilding my engine, the various components

(eg air filter, pipes, struts, axles, subframes, exhaust etc) take a lot of space up when not arranged neatly in an MR2!

Disposal of the final shell will also presumably cost, unless you angle grind it up and take it to the tip

(I've seen this done before at a municipal tip!)

Anyway, once these factors are considered, I guess you compare your selling price of your car as a

"runner" vs.

the sum of the typical prices for the compenents you can sell by using somewhere like ebay or this forum.

just my 2p worth anyway.
