Got bored so decided to put some pics together. I know some of you wont like them and some will say it looked better as it was i dont mind opinions as long as there not abusive.

How the MR2 looked when i brought it in early 2004

Image
Image

Fitted Veilside spoiler

Image

Brought a set of 17's
Image

Fitted an air intake
Image

Image

took it off because it looked gay and fitted vertical doors
Image

Fitted a set of magline wheels for my J Tuner Feature

Took the car to the bodyshop i was using at the time, the idea was to have this bonnet fitted and a border bumper with a set of quad lights. The bodyshop proper ruined the bonnet but luckly Mart at race design sorted me out by buying the bonnet that the bodyshop ruined back off me but i still lost out on money thanks to the bodyshop.

Image
Image

Change wheels back because i didnt like them, and cracked front bumper oops
Image

Met K and decided to go for the celica light conversion i allways wanted.

Got cover of MR2only

Met Jason at XS power and got a new exhaust
Image

Had the car keyed to xxxx so let MR2only do what they wanted to with it for the last show

car is back in bodyshop,

ok basicly the plan was to have the bonnet, fit a border bumper and set of quads n the exterior would have been done.

Before this i traveled to Autovision to get a qoute on my light conversion and as expected it was expensive and alot of work.

The bonnet fell through after the bodyshop painted it badley and genrally fcuked about with it in the oven. The bumper also fell through (was supposed to be swapping bumpers with someone) so i kinda lost heart with that idea. I wanted a genuine border bumper was going to have the indicator slots smoothed and the indicators placed in fog grills.

Saw a car that Xquiste had done so thought what the hell will go see them got a qoute for a light conversion. Wanted to get it done alongside re-spray but couldnt afford to but wanted to do light before anyone else so just bit the bullet and took the plunge with the conversion and booked it in.

Im so glad it worked out as it did. THe light conversion was only really pipe dreams.

Have to say IMO the car looked its best here. I'm surprised to say that even the Veilside spoiler suits the car! And lambo doors can work, I think they did on yours because it wasn't overstyled, but enough style to carry it off.

The XS zorst looks the xxxx danglies mate, it really is sexual =P~

Not so keen on the Bomex spoiler on yours though - bit frumpy, nor the rear spats on top of the TOMS - bit stuck on - but hey, your preference mate, and I guess you like to change things around....

Just being honest 8)

Oh, and gutted that those willys keyed the car ](*,)

No was in a car park, school boy error.

Yar they have allready sorted the gap that was bugging me from the start. Dunno what to do about lights to be honest?

Yep it is. The car was imported with the full kit. I kept it for a bit i liked it because it was rare but the front was far to subtle for the rest of the car and the celica lights would have looked poo with that bumper. Sold it to a member on here.

Atually it wont be the first.

I love the toms rear bumper. It's not often you see them and I really think it sets off your car nicely.

Also I love the choice of the new spoiler. It will look awesome and a vast improvement on the veilside which I loathe.

This has to be one of the most recognisable mr2s on the forum and I think it looks brilliant. Good luck with the rest of it buddy! :thumleft:

BTW which colour are you going for with the respray? Nik

Had the crap bump strips smoothed from the front bumper they used to stick out like a sore thumb but had to be there to enable removal of the bumper. But K has modified the bumper so the bumper now bolts in from the arches
