After showing Milothius how it the roof clips into place yesterday, we realised that now I have fitted a strut brace from a T-Bar model, the sunroof has no storage space. Doh! #-o

yeah the t-bars have the brace obivously because theres no need to make provision for a place to stow the roof but it makes you wonder if toyota deem it necessary to have a front brace fitted then do the sunroof models suffer as a result of not having one?

I think that the t-bars need the brace more due to not having the same rigidity of the sunroof models. That said i have sunroof car and i have fitted a strut brace. It does mean that i can't stow the sunroof, but i don't ever really take it out anyway.

A while back on ebay I noticed a strut brace made for the MKI with a moon roof that would still allow you to store the roof panel. After market item more than likely I suppose :)

Well i guess you could always get your own made up. I'm not interested in taking the sunroof out so it doesn't really bother me. The only time i might take the sunroof out is when i'm on track and then i'd just leave the sunroof in the pits.
