de-badging?

de-badging?

Anyone any views on de-badging should i bother? Also if i end up peeling them off will i have a nasty surprise of small holes that need filling? :?

they are just stuck on.. heat carefully with hairdryer and peel off.. residue can be removed with meths or suchlike i would imagine..

interested in any replies as i need to do the same :-k

Debadging is great for that "smooth ass" look!! :)

AND ? - so how did you do it ? - hairdryer ?- bit of elbow grease to clean up any residue ?

Watch it, the Toyota badge at the front has two holes underneath.

the back of mines totally debadged, i just need to remove the front badge, but the holes are gonna need to be filled & sprayed :(

Yeah debadging is def better, though if you willy it up like on mine then you are either paying to get it all resprayed or other badges to cover up your handywork!
Hairdryer is best bet, but don't just take off badges without using a hairdryer/heatgun first, you will regret it! :cry:
All front badges have two prongs whether import/uk spec, that one is a bodyshop matter.

I didn't mate. The bodyshop did mine when I had other stuff done :|

Thats it then a job for the week end! Just need to swipe the wifes hairdrier now! Think ill leave the front at the mo.
