Excellent news Ryan.

I'll be back to get mine mapped now it's finally "run-in".

I've just got to cure the constant overboost to 2+kg/cm2. I can't seem to get the AVCR to hold boost at 1.4kg/cm2.
I may ultimately need to move to GM 3bar MAP sensor.

Also moving to 225/245 F/R tyre combo to assist with traction.

2 bar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Must be a pain changing underwear every 10 minutes!

Great to see the car has evolved so much but as a fellow 20 yr old i am soooooo jealous. Remember seeing this as an NA in max power last year sometime!!!

Yh his det cans were working alright it was just abit of string tied to the engine then a plastic cup which he put his ear into for hearing det. There det cans arn't they.........

PMSL  Come on andy what kinda reply was that bud we talking about a guy that tunes 500bhp+ cars everyday and owns a 9 secs car

The st205 was working fine for flow and cooling his was not taking any fuel out at the top end which points to bottlenecking.

Ill let paul explain about map sensor but trust me it read higher than 1.9bar and this was checked with boost controller

Cool :)
I wish my groupA TTE CC was as good at 1.7 bar...i may have to fit some extra bike rads i guess :thumleft:

Did you not even get a miss fire at 1.9bar?

Zen are good. I got my car mapped by Paul for the first time when I installed my PFC. He's a very commited guy and knows his stuff. However, I would say though that mine was done on the road without a rolling road and in my experience you can't do a sorted map without putting it on the rollers first, hence my trip to Rob @ Perfect Touch

See i would never get my car tuned on a RR as you just cant simulate the load, air flow properly but you can get a better cruise map while using the dyno due to being able to hold at a certain rpm for as long as you like which you obviously cant do for to long on road.

Thats why a mix is best.

Anyways, Ryan, Top stuff.Come down for a power run mate. You've been talking about it long enouh. I want a ride in that MR2

Did not get any misfires at all, Hopefully paul will post the logs on here soon to show ya mate but as you can imagine mega busy guy

Have you had problems with yours then at 1.7 bar then, Went for the bike rads as they allow you to fit the rad in the fog light holes then they dont get heat soaked of the standard intercooler. Also jacked the crap davis craig pump and fitted a bosch high flowing pump. Then moved the chargecooler a good 5" of engine and heat wrapped. Lucky i dont have a normal engine lid as it wont close now with one lol
