[Mk2] [NA] exhaust gasket

just fitted a standard exhaust back on my na today and forgot get a gasket and its blowing where it joins the cat :(

where the gaskety should be quiet bad, or are the nuts just not tight enough??

anyone know the torque settings?

also if its cause im missing the gasket where the hell will i get one on a sunday from???

you might be able to get a tube of liquid gasket from halfords, high temp stuff. Should do the job until you can get the proper one. dunno how tight though, a couple of white knuckles should do i would think.

Liquid gasket should be fine.

I tell him all this before he posts the question, sometimes i get the feeling he dosent trust me :roll:

well its bodged on for now with some sealant isnt blowing either :)

standard exhaust is very quiet though.....

not sure if i like or dont like :(
