Ken : Literally do you want us to just click on the Paypal link on this page :

And you'll work out which ForumID has paid you ?

The process and linkage between booking a place and paying for it just didn't seem to be linked up and I didn't want to be paying £99 for the wrong thing!

That's right Ben :D

The reason it's done like that is to try and get an accurate number of people attending.

Nope, no problems with car, just problems with money unfortunately. Its a long story, but basically no bursary this year adn the trackday being in the middle of a 3 month placement, so a poor time of year for me. :(

These questions have probably been asked and aswered already but i cant find them :(

1. What are the rules regarding passengers? Free? Allowed/Not Allowed?
2. Tyre changing onsite - will there be tyre change facilities?
3. Photography? Will someone like picman be there?
4. Timing equiment - is it allowed?

Thanks,

Neil.

Have a look at the easycack site.

No timing allowed on trackdays, ever. I can tell you that for sure. IT would void the liability insurance.

passengers are £5 think extra drivers are £15.

no eyedear about tyre changing, but i don't think so. check the site. Not sure about photos either.

A mate of mine went on a trackday at Bruntingthorpe last month and they provided full timing? I will have to find out who he did it with.

Just read your original post..

"The cost for the track time is £99 per car and includes admission, second drivers and passengers but passengers will have to provide their own helmets and their are 20 helmets for the drivers to share but bringing your own is recommended. "

Which answers some of my questions, im sure I read that about 5 times last night and didnt see the bits about passengers? - must have been tired!

Neil.

PS. Not sure if my fronts will make another airfield day and get me home - need to decide if I should change them before the day or not.

Personally if it was me id change them before the day and get them worn in as you know concrete tracks are not very kind to tyres and with the sort of power you have Neil you want all the grip you can get

My moto is beter to be safe than sorry

Neil, there's a very fast left hander at 100+ followed by a right hander at about 50mph - the fronts will take a bit of a beating I'm afraid. If there's visible tread across the whole tyre, and 3mm on the tread, I'd say you'd be OK. At worst you'd just have to modify your driving style to be a little kinder to the tyres.

It would also let us in Mk1s also stand a chance of catching up ;)

What are you trying to say?

I think I will drop on a spare pair of nearly new Goodyear F1's - ought to last the day and get me home. They have been resting in my shed for the last 3 years so its about time i put them to good use :)

Im quite looking forward to the day already!.
