[All] [Generic] Can I turn off square brackets in post titles?

I'm sure there's probably been some 50 page topic that I missed, but I've done a search and couldn't see it.

Is there any way of turning off the square brackets in post titles?

All that [Mk2 Turbo Generic] nonsense makes the page look awful and very difficult to scan.

Is this a permanent feature?

all I'm saying is why post it in the MR2 General forum when it's about the board and not the car.

I appreciate you demonstrated the bracketry, I peronally agree with you that it "looks" a bit muddlesom - but it serves a purpose and on that other link the board's people in the know have taken on board other people's critism and now looking at making the font smaller to tidy up the look.

The point is that you should have posted this in site news and suggestions, where you wouldn't have to select a category. The point of having categories is to stop people posting stuff in general that is not MR2 related, a bit like this thread!
