MK2 V6

Post by foxy-stoat »

Right.........

really need to sort out a mortgage in the next few months, and i cant sell anything else, so its either, save up for another year, or let the UK's 7th V6 go to someone here, ( i'd prefer the first option tho ! ).

Am looking for £5750

no swops, no offers, no testers PLEASE !!!!!!!

anyone SERIOUSLY wanting THE coolest engine noise with THE coolest car wrapped around it ( black UK t-bar ) and NOT waiting until march/april next year ( Mr Woods is booked up till then)......drop me a pm.

heres the link to my owner's page:

http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=52227

and THAT cooooooool sound clip :

http://s50.photobucket.com/albums/f304/ ... ent=v6.flv

car was a n/a rev 2 with 149K on the clock. engine was a 1995 Camry with 152K on the clock ( which the full history )

have service records for both cars too !

have a couple of minor cosmetic jobs to do before i will let it go, bit of paintwork on the roof, some border copy side skirts to go on too. will be sold with a years MOT and a few months tax.

it had a new rear wheel bearing, clutch and gaskets with the cambelt done when Mr Woods converted it. also all 4 drop links where replaced. had new pads front n back. also it had a rev4 n/a gearbox fitted too with around 50k miles.

i know its near to christmas, so i reacon that its gonna make more sense to sell in the summer, but i really need to free up some stirlings and sort a mortgage out sooner rather than later.

any questions.....?

and yes, number plate goes with the car 8)

and before anyone asks,
YES i WILL miss it,
YES i DO need a MK2 V6 so...
YES I WILL get another one, and
YES i KNOW that for this money you can get a nice rev3 turbo etc etc
but the noise..................................dribble !!!

in fact......'uck......i'll think i'll keep it !

seriously, a roof over my head is more important than a car, even if it is a MK2 V6 !

i thank you.

Really sorry to see this going dude. You've only recently had the work done!

If it was after Chrimbo, I'd have considered it myself. :(

i know... crappo, only been a few weeks since i picked it up from Paul's place.

its either sell this or another year's saving....if no interest then it'll have to be another years saving and keep hold of it.

i know what'll happen in the summer tho.....wouldnt be able to bring myself to sell coz i'll have too much fun driving it !!

Selling already? :(

Thats two V6's for sale I have seen recently (yours and Pauls), and of course AFTER I've had mine done, forked out for a lot of little other bits and bobs which needed doing etc.

Cracking drive the V6's though, worth every penny in my opinion - and thats not because I own one. :P

well, pauls one only got to 2800 on flebay, and i doubt i'll get any interest on mine.

if i cant get a mortgage then i'll postpone buying a house for a year or 2 and use the small deposit i had managed to save up on a turbo for the V6 and keep it :D

i fooked out a lot of extra monies too, thats why it ended up owing me than i had budget'd for...oops....but still worth it, just needs to be a bit quicker !!!
