Depending on date, I'd also be up for this. I'm near to Milton Keynes at the moment, but the car is further south in Berks (i.e. both ends!) - and I used to work near to Aylesbury... so I'm quite familiar with the area but have never been to an MR2 meet anywhere around there...
Have to see if we can drum up any more enthusiasm for it...

Yup, I'd be up for this! \:D/

I'm in MK too.

Any idea when u wanna do it?

When we do the concrete cows meets in MK the turnout is usually pretty good. Winter may not help tho :(

I dont mind if we meet in MK or Aylesbury.... I have only been to one meet before... and that was with the 300ZX club when i had one of those...

I guess we need a pub which does good food with a decent carpark.....

Any ideas?

How bout Willen Lake in MK. The pub there does 2 for 1 meals!

Might be a bit far for anybody in aylesbury tho. What is there between Aylesbury and MK? :-k

The willen lake pub certainly has a big car park!

I don't mind travelling to aylesbury, if you want somewhere suitable for both aylesbury and mk then leighton buzzard is pretty much between the 2.

Don't know any suitable pubs in leighton buzzard though as I never drink there.

I can tell you. None. :P

(It's not the best place for going out...)

There are some nice villages around there I went to. There was a really nice pub near to... ummm... it'll come back to me and I'll post it up!!! (Only left the job there a couple of months ago! My D@mn memory...)

Edit: Grove Lock, near to Linslade. Postcode: LU7 0QU
A bit of detail here: http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/ ... Lock/Grove
They have some parking, but not a huge amount so we'd probably have to get in touch beforehand. Plus it's not the largerst pub indoors so would probably depend on how many are coming.
It's Just a suggestion though - and you can't get much more central between Aylesbury and MK!

This is nice and close to me as well. Does someone want to suggest a date?

That date would be good for me.

So where at then? I think the choices so far seem to be:

Willen lake
Or a location between aylesburry and mk (would be nicer I reckon - there's already an MK meet)

What about the 3 locks? Just outside of Leighton Buzzard. Never been there but driven past lots.

I didn't see the point of doing another one this close to winter as no one would have turned up... 8-[

Draven, I didn't come as I hadn't moved to the area at the time! (Though I was mighty tempted as it would mean I could meet people up here) Next time.

As for this meet; sorry it's taken me a while to get back to you guys but I think I'm gonna have to pull out. My tax expires end of November, and I'm planning on declaring the car off the road (SORN) as I currently can't afford the tax (needed parts for the daily driver). So I'm out... Sorry.

I'm up for it as long as I'm not working. I live in MK but work in Aylesbury.

Why don't we do an Aylesbury - MK run stopping at leighton buzzard or somewhere?

Would still like to try and get this meet off the ground - it could be a kinda 'off season' meet, for when The Concrete Cows Meet is closed for the winter?
