Must've been to busy laughing at home all this time @ Mark & his numeracy skills!

Was a good night & good to meet up with you all & put some faces to names.

If any of you remember the Hallowe'en mask i showed you, well, the mrs didn't like me slipping it on in the middle of the night for her to wake up to! =D> :eye:

GLOL!.... you are horrible doing that to your Mrs... i would kill Mark if he did that to me.

Mark and that magician trick still has me in tears everytime i think about it! Was an absolute classic and don't worry there's not a chance he'll forget it. ;)

Yeah you're right Steve-o. Should go to the next one. I was thinking of perhaps organising one for the 'Essence of Asia' restaurant nearish to me. It's a quality curry place, really swish too. Remember Mallons (Austerlands)... that's where it is! Perhaps as a Christmas thing?

As for the Cat, well this weekend I am in Germany (def will be hitting that bar again) and the weather is a bit cack too. It's hard to organise anything in advance because the weather is so erratic that I just decide on the day to go!

ahhh, is that what Mallons is now! cool, not been there for a while (used to be en-route of the pub crawl on x-mas do from 3 crowns to Oldham) we got a bit rowdy! lol then they asked us not to go back (don't think they wanted 80 of us in there!

so essence of asia sounds promising! know what you mean about the weather, was up on the Isle of Skye on Saturday putting some miles on the engine, couldn't bloody see! ](*,)

 How 80 would fit in there I don't know. Three Crowns is trying to be like the White Hart, but all it is really is a pub with seats. There isn't really anything nearby that's decent in terms of 'normal pubs,' have to go to Uppermill really.

So your engine is now in? Used to like the Isle of Skye road but it's just too damn bumpy really. A62 Oldham to Huddersfield is a little better, but more restrictive.

I'll post up something for around December time and see what the interest is like first before booking a table. I understand it would be a bit of a trek for a lot of people.

how true about 3 crown, but when we needed a sit down meal for that many it works well (plus they get a LOT of money taken so can cope when the MD started a food fight most years) meals & drinks for 80 folk and free bar from 12-2.30 \:D/

Starting one in Oldham - is that you just being lazy Josh

Sounds good but you will have to provide a magician after the meal!

Seriously though we should decide on a venue for a christmas cury, i am not likely to be living in manc come christmas, me and sarah will have moved to congleton by then. I know there was talk of one in stoke, but thats a bit to far for you from oldham so we may just be best sticking in manc, kind of a middle grounds!

With the house move next week, the 15th is out of the question for me not sure if manc is the best option anyway, if anyone is up for one on the 22nd we could make that, what about everyone else?
