the a54 that runs upto the cat is a very challenging and techinical road with lots of crests, dips, bumps and blind bends.

certainly will be a nice road to test your coilovers on.

ive not been on it since i fitted my cusco coilovers so wil probably want to give it some sick up there.

had a quick blast ove the cat with lee and was really impressed with how the car handled but will be interesting to try a road that isnt quite as smooth.

I'd just like to say... i'm just back from the pub and I'm glad some mk2's are gonna join the crowd. I have no coilovers, no turbo, and no classy paint job.

But i love mr2's in all shapes and forms and i'm sooooooooooooooo looking forward to sunday.

Can't wait..... see ya there \:D/

They're new KW's.....I should have said that they are smooth compared with the former TRD coils

Guys, sorry but i won't be there this time - can't get the car MOTd until Tuesday. Got a little work to do on the brakes apparently ](*,) - My fault as i should have put her through the MOT before today but honestly didn't think there would be any problems.
Was really looking forward to this meet too :(
Hope it all goes well for you anyway

You've all got to try and make it...... Just to see my 50 profile tyres on the rear of my car....... they sorta dont fit, but a mallet to the arches will soon cure that this evening

I swear the it said 40 profile when i bought the wheels.... then again i was a little tipsy

Oh and my number plate fell off on the motorway today :( so i gotta fit a new one of them before i turn up.... but i shall be there..... oh yes i shall :P

You'd be a brave man (or woman?) (witch?) to take the roof off in the middle of summer in the Peak District - it's always freezing up there!

Well that lasted long lol! Second bloody roundabout Lee (Spittinflames) took the wrong turn and lost 4 of us in the process

I don't mind so much, was pretty much wasted last night & had to drag meself out of bed for it :o

At least I had the chance to say Hi :)

A few pics from the Peak run......four Mk1's and five Mk2's turned out for the run.

A bit of a disaster early on after four Mk2's took the wrong turning in Stoke, but ended up beating the rest of us for lunch at the Cat and Fiddle anyway (due to the convoy leader's inability to navigate, even with a Satnav! )

The weather on the Peak was pretty foul, fog and drizzle all the way, but still a decent day out.

sorry to hear you had difficulties with the route I did try to make it as easy to follow as possable

believe me it is no easy task to lead one of these runs (sat nav or not) you lterally end up willing the following cars to see where you are going but in the end if people cant follow you are stumped!
don't know who lead today, Ian perhaps! but who ever it was deserves a bit of praise for having a go =D> =D>
as for weather being poor you can expect mist/drizzle up there at any time these are the highest main roads in England, next stop from here is the moon
anyway sorry again for my inability to attend this run I have already started planning the spring run. Killer tea stop you wont forget for a while, keep an eye on MK1Club events for april
