pretty much bought my first MR2!!!

just been to look at a MR2 Turbo Rev3. best 1 i have looked at, was spotless outside and inside looks like a new car!

its covered 57k miles and got documentation to back it up. the only mods i could see were wheels, a mushroom filter, single exit exhaust and it may be lowered.
it also has defi guages inside it and a defi controller. only problem with them is 1 of the guages had a flashin light on it and none of them work, i just looked them up on the defi site and it says the Following

CONDITION
*The warning LED lamp is flashing ON and OFF.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
*There is a wire short circuit somewhere.
*There is a wire broken, or disconnected.
*Set the wrong cylinders number.
REMEDY
*Confirm that no wires are touching the vehicle body.
*Confirm that there are no wire broken or the connectors are not disconnected.

So that looks like it will be easy to sort,
its just had a full service and MOT.

managed to knock him down to £3750 and i pick it up monday. im goin back up to see it again 2moro giv it another good looking over, but from what i seen and tested it all seemed top notch, no smoke from exhuast (engine was freezing when 1st started) no knocks, gear box feels firm with no play. cluch nice and solid. all felt nice!

i now cant wait, any ways here is a couple of pics

I saw that on autotrader the other day. Stunning condition, but while the wheels are a bit cult, imo they don't really suit the car. Better off on a drift 200SX.

You've got a bargain. I'm going to hopefully get something very similar early next year.

Looks great, I hope the door isn't shut in the 4th pic, or thats a terrible shut line.

Looks like a lovely car mate and the wheels certainly do grow on you the more you see it. Like the man said though, I hope the shut line is good on the drivers door. Bet of luck with your new pide and joy mate. have fun.

ps, when you look tomorrow, look for sign of more mods than you think being taken off. Look for a timer harness under the dash or extra wiring feeding to the ECU where maybe a tandalone used to be. Ive seen this ona number of cars when they thought they were std cars (well technically they were when THEY got them.)
