Stoke's only 30 mins from there.....shall we say 10am?

Top end of the car park furthest away from the main building?

No No No

Ian it's the lysander road Tesco super store at meir park not the longton one

Kev, I looked the store up on the map on the Tesco's site and it looked correct. The Lysander Road Tesco's didn't seem to be by the A50. Take a look at the link http://www.tesco.com/todayattesco/storelocator.shtml and put in ST3 7TW. I stand to be corrected.

Ian trust me on this one the Lysander road Tesco Superstore is the one where we have always met, as it's only 1.1 miles from my house and where I do my shopping I can give you a cast iron gaurantee that ST3 7TW is the one. also see the route and st3 7 is the start point

and again before anyone says that I start runs at my nearest location this is a start point that has long been used by the MK1 Club predating my membership, it's only recently by the way that Tesco built another store to confuse the issue

Right, Lysander it is, Tesco's maps are obviously rubbish and I'm guessing show the centre point of the post code rather than the actual store location.

If there is any confusion on the day or anybody's running late, call me to let me know you're coming.

Ok your route to the start is
M53
M56
M6 exit at jct 16 (or carry on to jct 15 it's as long as it is short!)
a500
a50 when you pass under a short tunnel you will come to a BP petrol station on your left take next exit you will see Tesco's on the right ST3 7TW if you have sat nav ( about 2 miles earlier there is a tesco on the left ignor this)
about an hours drive

route for the run is posted on the thread have a look through, Ian has posted his mob. no. make a note of this and call if you get lost

yes Meir Park Tesco opposite the Mc Donalds
Not Longton tesco which has a Pizza Hut next to it
I think people are worried about getting lost before they meet up
the way not to get lost on the run is always wait at junctions until the car behind has seen which way you have gone this way no one gets lost, this way the car in front wont dissapear because he has one eye on the car behind
no one laughs at anyone elses car even if it is only a MK2

Hicks, don't worry about your clutch mate, worry more about my brakes if I'm behind you. Either my new discs come tomorrow which means I'll be bedding in new Celica brakes or they won't come and the last fraction of pad that's left on my old brakes will have worn off completelty; been scraping for 10 days now!

No-one laughs at MK2's, we're all too busy leaving em behind! Unless it's Hick's turbo of course, but then he can't use all that power this time coz of the clutch.

Meet at 10:30 (am) to leave by 11.

The last time I went on one of your runs you weren't holding anyone up, you know these roads better than anyone.

We won't be going mad on Sunday, the pace will depend on everyone as a whole.

Don't worry about appearance, mine is the tattiest car you will see, and certainly dont worry about speed, as mine handles like a bowl of jelly and twistees are not it's friend at the mo. :(

Praying for dry weather, then i should be ok...
