Ended up buying a uk car, rev 5 t-bar, pics included

After searching for a turbo my old man got pi$$ed off with looking and ended up buying what he first set out to get, a rev 5 t-bar with leather in cosmos blue

the cars a 1998 on a r plate with 50k miles on the clock, 2 owners from new and ftsh. its in a1 condition and in the end he got it for £6800

Nope. Cosmos Blue aka Mica Purple is the rev5 colour seen in the pics above defo.

IT looks VERY VERY similar to my old MR2!
R plate rev5 in Cosmos Blue
I sold mine 12 months ago

Beautiful car, still reckon you should have held out for the turbo!!

Could have got a nice import for that money

he couldnt be bothered to look at anymore turbos as all of them seemed to be bumped etc, he also wanted something that was no older than 1995

he's had two rev 5's before, if he decides on an engine conversion i'll be doing it

Your dads has got less miles on the clock so I'd say the price is about right - Think I'd of tried for a more realistic £6,500 and left the offer with the dealer / private seller.

the dealer was after £8k for it mate! he offered him £6500 first and he said no way, then accepted £6800
