Sign Graeme's Card! - Response from Graeme (GTech)

Post by gtech »

Hello fellow 2 nutters :-)

Well what can I say.....other than WOW!!!!!!!. :?

There I was laying in my hospital bed, dozing away the hours when I heard this voice say "Hello Mr Simpson".

Looked up and say Paul and Becky Woods at the end of the bed, and in all honesty I was "Gob Smacked", so much so that it took me a good 60 seconds to work out that I was'nt still asleep.....really really took me by suprise.

Paul had printed out the thread he had started on IMOC, and I was just stunned at the response, I was honestly shocked to hell. Never in my wildest dreams had i thought anything like this would happen.

It just goes to show that we have one hell of a community here @ IMOC

From the bottom of my heart I say thanks to you all for your kind and witty comments, everytime I got low I just picked up the printouts and read through them all and that gave a massive boost to know that everyone is rooting for you, so once again many many thanks to each and everyone of you, and I look forward to buying a few beers at JAE 2005 \:D/

I am at home now, all be it with very limited mobility and a great deal of pain......but as they say "no pain, no gain"

Hopefully 6 weeks should see me back behind the wheel and raring to go :-) how the hell I am gonna last for 6 weeks without a drive I dont know.

If any of you are in the Darlington area at anytime, please pop in for a cuppa and a chat.....open house here.

Once again many many thanks for your words of encouragement, they really helped......massive thanks to Paul Woods for doing all this.....a definate "Diamond geezer" =D>

Now i'm home i can pass the time by organising some meets fo the NE owners, ..... michael (Msherry21) def up for a meet up with you, will email you..

All the best to you all

Graeme (gtech aka pegleg)

Oh by the way....have a feeling they've ripped me off.....dont think the replacement Knee joint is a genuine part......something they got off ebay probably :-)

Hope all went according to plan and they didnt remove any wrong peices :cyclops:

Agree with you, Paul Woods is a star bloke. He just gave me a free bottom end for my new engine \:D/

Get well soon!

P.S. Have you got a little bell to summon Gayle when you need food, drinks, TV channel changed etc :D

To be honest Steve, Gayle is my other star, she runs after me and makes sure I'm okay, always puts me first, she really is my "Shining Star".....Shall have to find a way of rewarding her when I'm back on my feet.

That was generous of Paul......mind you, as we both say, "he's a diamond geezer".
