Thanks for posting those up Patrick ;) Somehow the innards of a forged engine look even sexier than when it's bolted together! lol ;)

nice to see dude.....looks and sounds really good..
havent seen it in the flesh yet with your new spec, and im sure you wont be down no bluewater meets anymore given the state of things there.....

i for one am not a fan of decals of any kind.....i like the sleeper look...decals says to me, my cars modded.
i appreciate rogue have done an excellent job, and i would certainly express that on the forums, but plastering a load of stickers on that beast is just not my cuppa tea, sorry....

anyhow, hope it runs well, hits the 500whp mark (or whatever it is in hub speak), does low 11s and kills a few cars at the track/1/4mile days....

Thanks again for all the kind responses chaps.

Has Bluewater really become that bad? My poor old meet ! :(

Decals are part of the sponsorship deal buddy but I understand your views. My car has always had that sleeper look about it, and yes graphix have taken some getting used to honestly speaking. Having said that I really do enjoy driving the car and the attention it's new look brings really is fun. The thumbs up from passers by makes me laugh :)

We provide the bottom end already modified and built up, including lightened, balanced, knife-edged, nitride hardened crank, forged con rods and our own design forged pistons.

We plan to have a number of these short blocks on the shelf shortly and available on an exchange basis.

mmm, sounds good to me, will it be as per the spec above yes? and if so what sort of price are we looking at? also when do you think these will be available off the shelf? what comp ratio + bore are the pistons?

sounds like youse are adding another string to your already impressive bow

lol so many times i've found that I know the cars better than the people that own them #-o

Graphix will remain on until the new one's are ready. Many people like yourself have said they really like them. It looks even better in the metal ;)

Patrick / Mike,

just a few questions on this setup...

whats the rod ratio?

What size pistons are being used and what length rods?

What is the displacement (exact)?

Where did you tap the block for the turbo oil feed / drain?

What did you do for an oil cooler?

Looking good Mikey...get the suspension sorted, get a remap for 2 bar boost and go run a 10!

PS: And get rid of the stickers!!!

Hello mate.

In truth I don't have that info to hand but i'm more than sure Patrick will be along soon enough to answer :) I can tell you that we are using the Greddy Grex oil cooler that I had on the old engine ;) lol

Run 10's! I would love to but think it's realistically out of reach with the turbo chosen. Maybe we'll strap something beefier on next year just for the 1/4

As for the stickers...... a new design is underway and will hopefully be on before too long. As for getting rid of them completely..... no sponsor in the land would allow their masterpiece out in public naked !!!

I bought it from Chris Billing some time earlier this year. It's a c/f Border design, (not original) but still a perfect fit all the same and it weighs around half that of the original metal effort :) ;)

Sorry to crash your thread Mike, but...

I might have one for sale in a couple of weeks dude. Just got to see which looks better, the Ask Sport one, or the Border.

PM me if you're interested.
