This is info that i've picked from this site, i've not actually carried out all of these mods.....

For 250+bhp at the flywheel

1. 3" Exhaust
2. Decat Downpipe
3. Air Filter
4. Uprated Intercooler
5. Electrionic/Mechanical Boost Controller set to 15psi
6. Unichip (this allows the ecu to be remapped - pretty essential as without it, the rev2 will run very rich)

Beyond 280bhp, I believe the rev2 ct26 turbo will be struggling and a turbo upgrade will be the best way forward.
You'll need to consider replacing the head gasket in the hunt for 300bhp as this is a known weakness.
You may also need to consider upgrading the fuelling system (fuel pump, injectors etc)

Hope this helps a bit, but i'm sure someone else will be able to give a definitive guide to achieving 300bhp.

ct26 aint much cope past 220whp, 260fly hp.....

for 300hp, on a rev2.....

larger than stock turbo, ie ct20b
ic or cc
boost controller
downpipe/exhaust
induction
larger injectors
EMS to controller everything

Hi there,

AL has about covered it all I think, but it all depends how much cash you've got to spend?

These cars were 225 at the fly, so all that kit listed will probably get you well past 250 at the fly - but will cost a few £k!

I'd say do the breathing, zorst and decat first. The intercooler can probably wait until higher boost levels are reached - i.e. beyond 15psi.

But by then you'll be needing chips/fuelling in the rev2 as you'll be at the limit of the stock fueling, so it all escalates.

I'd stick to 15psi (only with Optimax/ high octane fuel though!!), filter, ss exhaust and decat pipe.

That will easily be under £1k if you don't go for top of the range kit. But if you go for a manual boost controller (MBC) be sure to budget for a proper boost gauge.

If you're not happy with that power, and have another £1k to spend, then yes go onto fueling, intercooler and better mapping.

Turbo and HG changes start to ge more complicated (and expensive), so these would be last on the list. I think 300bh/p at the fly is achievable without these though.

300fly is not possible on the ct26, far from it....
HG is good for 1.3-1.4bar (so i was told), so unless you want to get a hybrid ct26, then i say youd be fine to get a ct20b and hit 300bhp....
