Re: Clifford concept 600 problems
you need to input your valet code into the
"star and blank" buttons and then use those buttons to adjust the settings.

Re: Clifford concept 600 problems
its no even lettin me do that, theres no chirps, no flashes, then all of a sudden the hazards all stay on and the door locks take a fit!
Re: Clifford concept 600 problems
Check all the alarm fuses.
.
.
If there is no power it will immobilise your car.

Depending on where they installed it
(and considering recent weather) check the Alarm ECU hasn't been water damaged!

Re: Clifford concept 600 problems
Have you changed the battery in the keyfob.
Also, the cliffords have a nasty habit of screwing up when the Backup Battery goes dead, these need to be replaced about every 3
- 4 years.

Clifford DONT sell the battery, they make you buy a complete new sounder for
£50 then about
£30 for authorised fitting.

If you email: [email protected]
she does the clifford backup batteries and comes with a complete fitting guide
got loads of dead alarms working again.

Re: Clifford concept 600 problems
solution is easy!!
Remove clifford system and throw it away and replace it with another system.
I have had two clifford systems and both went wrong and now am never going to have another one fitted ever again.

Re: Clifford concept 600 problems
Clifford system need to be installed properly, if they are then there is no problem with them, I've had two now, good installer and never had any problems.

The problem the guy above has, will be down to the backup battery failing, these last approx 3 years.

Re: Clifford concept 600 problems
stay clear from clifford.

hate them.
now i use toad or cobra.

hate them.

Re: Clifford concept 600 problems
I've had 3 cliffords and wont get anything else.
Not a single problem to report over 7 years of them.

As above, if you got them installed properly they dont cause problems and if there are any the intaller should sort it out.

Those of you who had problems
- were they fitted by mobile fitters?

Re: Clifford concept 600 problems
no mine wasnt a mobile fitter.
was 100% clifford certified.

was all good at the start, 6 months later it wasnt.
removed it myself.

didnt even sound when i was cutting the wires
.
.
.
and the car started 1st time with no problems.
.
.some alarm and immobiliser it was
(also clifford 500/600 cant remember now)

i wouldnt trust clifford to protect my car, especially after removing mine
.
.
.
.few wires cut and thats it disabled
