Blitz boost controller setting ??

Hi Guys,

Ive got a rev 3 with a Blitz internal boost controller, Im have trouble setting up the boost setting, in 1st 2nd and 3rd-ish, it boosts fine, say 16-17 PSI, however when low revs in 4th or 5th and I put my foot down the boost goes to 19PSI and lights up RED ! then will come back down, Ive tried adjusting the gain, although this slows up the boost it still hits 19PSI, is there another setting I can play with?

I have tried setting the setting lower but then this has a knock on effect in 1st 2nd etc

I have one of these and its a mare to set up but here's what iv found out with mine.

DONT adjust the gain, this is there for turbos with external waste gates and is meant to compensate for the stiffer sgpring rate, so you should have it set somewhere round the 20(ish) mark.

The right hand knob...
it has 3 different displays..
1. % of boost
2. Actual boost in real time...boost gauge
3. Peak hold

ok.... push this until it is displaying tht epercentage of boost....will be a number between 0-100
ok now press the left hand button and you will see SET flasing in top right hand corner....
Now turn the right hand knob to your desired choice....(Start at around 40)
Now go for a drive and see what you peak boost is....then either turn ya percentage up/down to reach your desired boost level.

You are miss informed regarding the gain feature being only for cars with an external wastgate! If you have a better look through the menu of options you will see that you are infact able to choose between actuator or wastgate. Gain in simple terms denotes how the turbo delivers it's power. ie, lower gain figures = mild response. Higher gain figures = Faster response

thanks for the info guys, I will try this and see how I get on, my gain is set at 20, I was aware of the actuator or wastgate feature and mine is set right for this.
