Last pub meet for the SE area mk1 club , this year.

Just to let you all know we will be meeting at Hanrahans in Maidstone Kent, at 12 ish, this Sunday November 5th.
Directions are 78 London rd, A20 Maidstone Kent ME 16. Exit M20 at junction 5 and follow A20 towards Maidstone, pub is on the left hand side.
Sounds as though there should be quite a few turning up!
If there's enough of us, we will probably be having a drive out too!
Always good to have a convoy.
Hope to see some of you there!

I live in the Southeast, but Maidstone is at least 2 hours drive from me... any chance of something around Herts/Bucks/Beds?

Most of the events and meets for the SE, seem to be in Kent, i suppose this is because it's where the SE area started, i have tried to get into some events in Essex but had no success!
If your interested i can get your name added to the SE email list, this will keep you updated with everything that's going on, pm me with your email address.
There must be quite a few mk1 club members around your way, so might be worth you trying to arrange a pub meet or have a look at events that are going on near you.
As i don't really know your area, i can't suggest anywhere to go but try and get something arranged and i'm sure some of us would be able to meet up. It would make a change for me to go somewhere else other than Kent! and not have to go over the Dartford crossing
What we need is an updated contact list of members who live in the SE, i have an old one but i'm sure it's not worth bothering with now.
I will see if i can get an updated one and will pass the details on to you.

hopefully by the end of the year i will be updating the different area information, and seeing whether there are any areas that need sorting out - eg lack local meets.
look on the back of the club mag for the latest area's info.

The SE area covers a huge area and i will do what i can to help!
Maybe the SE area needs to be cut down to Essex, London and Kent?
The other areas near by might have to have their own !

The only local event I've been to was in St Albans, organised through the MR2 OC. Needless to say I had the only Mk1 there, although it did get a lot of attention, most of the chaps had never seen a Mk1 supercharger before!

Steve, I will PM you my details, please add me to any email lists for the SE region. To be honest though, Kent is a mission, its almost easier to get to some of the events up north.

I am happy to try and organise something in my area, but would need to know who is in my area and contact details.

If it helps I live near Hemel Hempstead, Herts. I guess you could call my area the Chilterns.

Ollie, there's a few of us in this area who I imagine would be up for a meet. Although, we are also members of TB so most have unfinished cars lol Can contact me by PM if you want but may not reply straight away as normally on the other forum and only check this from time to time.
