Was given a tin of SPAM...

I had a funny feeling someone was trying to make a joke at my expense...

Was a great time stick my name in for the next one  how ever i shall go away to look up some comebacks to said jokes :study:

Fantastic meet 8)

Guildford Spectrum is a much better starting point and stopping just off the A3 before Milford to regroup worked really well.

Really enjoyed the drive to the pub and it was great to meet everyone. Sunshine too, what more could one ask for.

Three cheers for Malcolm, aka Tiamat =D>

Cheers to all who turned up - was a quality meet, was gobsmacked by 20 cars!

There will be a Guildford meet of some description in November.
Discussions are underway about what to do, taking into account the likely bad weather, so keep your eyes peeled on the Events section.

Basically the consideration for the next meet will be the weather.
The route we took, whilst fantastic in the dry can be a little hairy in the wet and (without offence to anyone) also need to take into account people's varying driving abilities.
We've never had an accident on the Guildford meet, nor do I wish to have one. The problem is when in a convoy everyone gets tempted to push it that little bit further.
Some of the discussions were to maybe do a shorter drive and make the November one a bit more of a social occassion, with something like a meal and some bowling (or other event).
Any thoughts would be gratefully received.

Thats my 'strong hand' I usually use the ramp things anyway, those balls are far too heavy for me to lift on me own!

Skating could be dangerous. Could mean lots of cars left unattended while people go to hospital.

Bowling is alot safer...
