I got rid of my Blitz in favour of a Unichip. Reason being it is not mappable. Also at York Dragway I swapped my Blitz with JJ's stock ECU and it made sod all difference. I sold mine for £200. I wouldn't go for it.

AFAIK, the Blitz Access is only mappable via sent off to Japan and only has features such as fuel + speed limiter cuts

There are better ECU's out there....

hello les its lee hornsey here, alans son.

getting the blitz ecu will not increase the boost pressure over standard so you would still need the greddy boost controller to run along side it.

All the blitz ecu does it advances the timing more than the standard ecu. While this sounds good infact its quite bad due to the poor quality feul we get over here compared to japan. 98ron vs 100ron. Running more timing can lead to detonation and a dead engine :).

Once you have got the greddy boost controller it will be safe to raise the boost to 17psi on a rev3 (fuel cut comes in at 18 psi anyway). You should notice a huge improvement.

Does he have an exhaust/decat inplace yet?

cheers
