getting the blitz ecu will not increase the boost pressure over standard so you would still need the greddy boost controller to run along side it.

All the blitz ecu does it advances the timing more than the standard ecu.

While this sounds good infact its quite bad due to the poor quality feul we get over here compared to japan.

Running more timing can lead to detonation and a dead engine

Once you have got the greddy boost controller it will be safe to raise the boost to 17psi on a rev3

(fuel cut comes in at 18 psi anyway).

You should notice a huge improvement.

Does he have an exhaust/decat inplace yet?
