MK1 MR2 T bar cheap

Post by racebreed »

really want a mk2 to v6 now so gonna sell this

its a 87 D reg Mk1 got lots of receipts was a mr2 drivers club members car about 148,000 on the clock. interior is good but seats have a couple of rips on seats.

all the arches are good i have taken piccies of the rust basically its at the back of the sills under the side skirts where they join to the rear arches. both sills need patching and there is a small patch required on the floor skirts were removed for the pictures i have them still.

failed the mot on the sills and the small patch on the floor also a corroded brake pipe although i have looked and it just needs a clean up. The trim has been removed from the frunk and the boot. there is some bubbled rust as shown in the pictures also. all tyres are practically new as is the spare and the full exhaust is brand new!!!

it smokes a little when revving when cold and when pulling off but is fine when going and even when driving fast doesnt really smoke. i drove it 60miles home fine. An oil change may even sort it tbh

im thinking it is perfect for a swap as there is not too bad rust and you could sell plenty of bits off it. im not gonna break it just want the dosh in the bank for a new motor.

its got a few months tax so you could in theory drive it home!!!!. paint job is wierd rainbow effect cost alot when it was done!!!!!!

its got a sigma alarm with remote locking also.

sorry about the dodgy stickers and paint :D

i think it would be a good project and all this for only £275 ovno which is basically what i paid for it plus the fuel and the tax.

atleast you know what it needs for the mot to pass it even passed the emmissions etc fine with a lot of cars you buy with no mot it costs you £45 to find out whats wrong with it ive already done that :)
